Looking Towards 2013

As we celebrate Christmas and look towards a new year in publishing, we can’t help but consider how far we’ve come. 2012 has been a positive year for the growth of our company. We salute the hard work of our authors, editors and designers.

The manuscript of my newest book for young adults and teens, “The Illuminiers” was completed during NaNoWriMo and is undergoing editing and preparation for release in January. This is always a painstaking process, yet so far, it has gone through some “test marketing” with great success!

My daughter Lisa loved the book so much that she has begun preparing additional illustrations to include in the release. Her favorite character is William Shakespeare, the sentinel statue secretary of Elderwynne’s Academy. Her character that she dislikes the most? Violet, who rudeness is as extraordinary as her talent! How will Morgan and Amberly deal with her? And what about Violet’s last name? Well you’ll have to read the book…
